Pay it forward… Why we love “My Paris Story – Living, Loving and Leaping without a Net in the City of Light” by The Paris Women of Success
Written by women for women, “My Paris Story” reflects “every woman’s story” of passions, silenced then followed, and the challenges, and blessings that came along the way.
This book is another example of how Paris loves the Philippines: In gratitude for their blessings, the authors chose to dedicate a portion of their proceeds to building homes and bringing hope to the survivors of Typhoon Haiyan with Paris for the Philippines and Gawad Kalinga.
Michelle Pozon, our President and founding member, is one of the authors. She told us that at the heart of the book, is the call to be of service. “We hope to show our readers that extraordinary achievements can be made by ordinary people. We hope to inspire others to dare to dream and follow their hearts.”
PFTP is honored to be the beneficiary of the book, as it shares our mission beyond the borders of Paris and the Philippines. The book has been received with open arms and success. Within the first week of the book’s launch, it became an Amazon #1 Best-seller, with sales across the Atlantic and as far away as Hong Kong and Australia. In Paris, the authors are scheduled for book signings in WH Smith Bookstore, and in book clubs throughout the city. To learn more about the book, please go to www.myparisstory-thebook.com .
”MPS tells a story close to our hearts. It is about being of service. May we all follow suit… because in our hearts, we know we can.”
- Victoria Aquino Benoit (co founder and Chairperson of Paris for the Philippines)
